Job Location – Chennai, involves travel to U.S. and Europe.

Experience selling at the “C” level

The Director of Sales & Business Development will be responsible for closing deals both in the SMB and Enterprise space. In the role, you will work alongside with our other digital marketing, business development, inside sales and presales teams to generate sales revenue. Your experience and ability to manage, and close multiple sales deals at any given time will be an important factor for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • As the Director of Sales & Business Development, you will play a significant sales role in our business by strategizing, evangelizing and selling 8K Miles’ Multifactor Authentication (MFA) SaaS product, Blockchain, Identity and Access Management platforms to Canada and US prospects (companies with 500-10,000 employees).
  • Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales target.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers as well as develop the account plans for new relationships.
  • Responsible for navigating through an enterprise organization to leverage cross selling opportunities.
  • Leverage existing cloud providers relationships and accelerate channel sales opportunities.
  • Develop strategic business plan.
  • Generate leads from cold calling, inbound marketing campaigns, outbound prospecting calls, tradeshows and regional networking events.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and monthly sales.
  • Possess a full understanding of customers’ specific decision-making and purchasing process.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts.
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas.
  • Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

  • A proven sales hunter and closer.
  • Overall 10+ years of enterprise software selling experience including 5+ years of enterprise SaaS software product sales.
  • Experience in Identity Management, Blockchain, Cloud Technologies or Managed services ideal and considered a plus.
  • A strong history of quota attainment in a SaaS product sales role.
  • Strong preference for Cloud, Security, MFA, IAM and SSO technology/ product selling experience.
  • Closing skills, prospecting skills and sales planning skills.
  • Proven track record selling SaaS enterprise software into large/complex accounts.
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills with top-notch customer service approach.
  • Be part of a team in a fast paced, rapid change environment.
  • Conduct competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends to achieve market metrics.
  • Efficient team member & player with sound communication, interpersonal, presentation & problem- solving skills including analytical, decision making and leadership capabilities.
